Joe Mahler of Flycasters Workshop

Flycasters Workshop is a collection of my best fly-casting articles, tips, drills, and so on, presented with the sole purpose of building better casters. I have been fortunate to make my living as a fly-fishing illustrator, writer, and casting coach. I am happy to share what I have learned with you.

My work appears in Fly Fisherman magazine, Outdoor Life, FLW Bass, and other publications. You may have seen me casting away in national television commercials for Bass pro shops, Tracker, and Mako Boats. My easy-going style and unique presentation have given me many opportunities as a guest speaker at fly club events and sports shows.
