Fly Fishing Lessons

In order to get the most from your fly-fishing experience, you’ve got to perfect your cast. There is no one “right way’ to cast a fly rod, only the way that is right for you. I approach each student as unique, working together to find the combination of movement and timing to make fly fishing enjoyable and rewarding. Through coaching casters from every state in the U.S. and many other countries, I have coached people of all ages, skill levels, and physical abilities. All that is needed from a student is a desire to learn (and a fly rod).

Whether you are a beginner looking for a start in fly fishing, or a seasoned angler looking to perfect your presentation, dialing in your double haul, or even developing a cast in excess of 100 feet, we will work together to meet your goals.

Fort Myers lessons are held in a private casting course and pond. Other locations can be arranged. Equipment is provided or bring your own. A second person is welcome to join at no extra charge.
